Create a New Policy (Mac)
Complete the following steps to create a new policy:
 
1. Click Create New Policy > Mac Policy.
2. Configure the General Settings:
A. Policy Name – Assign a policy name.
B. Update Mode – Select the preferred application update mode:
~ Semi-Automatic – When this policy is selected, applications are configured for Automatic Update.
~ Manual – When this policy is selected, applications are configured for Manual Update.
~ Scheduled – When this policy is selected, applications are configured for Schedule Update based on the assigned schedule.
~ Version Freeze – When this policy is selected, application updates are not allowed.
C. Schedule – Select the preferred time from the drop-down list or enter a specific time to initiate maintenance.
D. Repeat on – Select the days when the maintenance will repeat.
3. Configure the Applications – Specify the application update mode for the apps.
> Automatically Update all App Store apps – Select this option to automatically detect and install updates for apps acquired from the Apple App Store.
When this options is enabled, apps will be updated at the Scheduled time set under General Settings.
4. Click Save.
