Getting Started for Faronics Deploy New Users
New users will see a pop-up window for downloading the Deploy agent. By default, Deploy Agent will be downloaded with Manual policy.
1. Sign up and log in – Sign up for Faronics Deploy.
Sign in options:
> Log in with Email and Password – Select this option to sign in using your registered email and password.
> Log in with AD credentials: Select this option to sign in using Active Directory credentials. Enter your user name, password, and Domain Identifier, then click Sign In.
> Log in with SAML – Select this option to sign in using SAML. Enter your Login Domain name in the Domain Identifier field and click Sign In.
2. Create a new Policy – Click Create New Policy and configure the General Settings, Applications, Anti-Virus, and Windows Updates. Refer to Policies for more information about configuring these settings.
3. Click Download Agent – Download and install the Deploy Agent on the computer. Select the Group, Policy, and Installation Options.
4. Select one of the following options:
> Download the installer to install on any computer.
> Obtain a URL for installing on other computer(s).
> Download the Deployment Utility to detect and install on any computer. (Windows only.)
> Download MSI installer to deploy via Active Directory. (Windows only.)
5. Click Download Now.
6. Run the downloaded installer on each computer that is to be managed by Faronics Deploy.
Once the Deploy Agent is installed, the computers will be visible in Deploy Console.
